Soldier Story's full gear US Army Ranger features the latest and greatest kit straight from Afghanistan shrunk to 1/6 scale. Many of the missions focus on securing weaponry to prevent it to being used on NATO and Afghan forces. Many times these weapons caches can be locked up tight. US forces have started to use the portable tools from Hurst (who produces the famous Jaws of Life) to gain entry into these spaces. The Jack Rabbit Forcible Entry Tool is small enough to be man portable and can provide up to 8,000 pounds of spreading force. Since nobody wants to carry a generator, they use the Hurst Mini Hand Pump which is hand operated to provide the power. Soldier Story has accurately reproduced these tools and constructed them of metal along with the ALICE pack frame (also in metal).
