A welcome oasis in the middle of the blazing desert of Tatooine, the Mos Eisley Cantina hosts a bizarre and dangerous array of aliens seeking shade, business and refreshment. A few steps into the dimly lit main room, one finds a scattering of booths and tables. A Bith alien band plays a lively tune in the corner, and a gruff bartender slings exotic concoctions from behind a rounded bar.
It is here that Greedo, the Rodian alien bounty hunter, locates Han Solo and demands the debt Solo owes to his employer, Jabba the Hutt. Greedo challenged the rogue at blaster point, but when Solo claimed not to have the money, Greedo opens fire. His shot missed, and it was the last mistake Greedo would make. Solo opened fire with his powerful blaster pistol, ripping through the cantina table and the Rodian's chest.
