The Eagle CIACS6 vest was designed for Special Operations aircrew members. It is based on the tested CIRAS design, but with modifications specific to aircrews. While the CIRAS vest will totally fall away from the wearer with a cable pull, aviation personell wear their survival gear on their vests so the cable pulls are set up to only drop the armor plates. In addition, the CIACS6 has an integrated harness for extraction. Basically, a downed airman can just hook himself to a line and be pulled out. Set includes CIACS6 veset with deltoid and shoulder armor and extraction lanyard and one locking carabiner.
