Description:
This set is designed to cover the sleeve rank insignia for enlisted soldiers
of the German Army who served in "tropical" regions, such as North
Africa or Italy. Three different backing colors of rank chevrons are
included: brown (used for wool items such as greatcoats), olive
(standard issue), and tan (sun-faded). Also included are eight pairs of
NCO epaulette inserts, NCO and officer candidate tresses.
We,ve also
included replacement breast eagles in both issued (blue-gray
background) and sun-bleached versions, two different army cuff titles
(the colorful and characteristic Afrikakorps and the widely seen Afrika
veteran title), two strips of award ribbon (one for the Iron Cross, the
other for the Russian Winter medal), and insignia for the special
operations unit Sonderverband 288, on backings for both olive and brown
wool uniforms

CVI's
insignia is printed on a dense-weave 100% cotton cloth fabric. Our art
is re-rendered from original images in order to give you the greatest
scale fidelity. Each set includes a detailed instruction sheet, usually
with application illustrations, and a baggie to keep your loose and
uncut patches together. To apply, just cut out the patch and use the
adhesive of your choice. See our techniques page for more information.
